1. Outdoor Yoga at The Bakery District

We always love an excuse to hang out at The Bakery District! What better way to do it than with some Outdoor Yoga every Thursday night courtesy of Courtney Youphoriafy from the Yogaterrium? Great way to introduce your kids to yoga or reenergize on your own with fellow classmates. The next class will be on April 29, 2021, from 6-7 PM. The cost is $10 or you can go the class pass route. Sign up online at yogaterrium.com!

2. Trivia Night at Chapters On Main

Every Thursday evening, come share in the fun and test your knowledge on general subjects, as well as monthly theme nights. Don't worry if trivia isn't your thing. It's more about the fun and camaraderie. And delicious Onyx Coffee. Always a great getaway for Mom and Dad or for parents with children who are really starting to feel love for books. Another great option for April 29 at 6 PM at Chapters On Main Bookstore in downtown Van Buren. More information here!

3. Diamond Daze 2021

If you don't mind a mini-road trip, Sallisaw's Diamond Daze 2021 kicks off on Friday, April 30, and runs through Saturday, May 1st. This year's event features Main Street Indian Tacos, Hot Air Balloon Rides (weather-permitting), a talent show, cruise night/car show, cornhole tournament, bounce-around for the kids, the Finger Lickin’ BBQ Contest, and more. Free to attend, but bring some spending money. Presented by the Sallisaw Chamber of Commerce.

4. Farmers & Artisans Market at Chaffee Crossing

The first in a planned series of Farmers & Artisans Markets at Chaffee Crossing will kick off on Saturday, May 1, in what promises to be a great time. Presented by Rival CRE Commercial Real Estate, local entertainment, and numerous vendors will be present. If you'd still like to participate on that side of things, shoot an email to audrey@rivalcre.com. Otherwise, be there any time between 9 AM and 2 PM ready for the fun. Follow the Facebook page for more information and updates.

5. Beltane May Day Festival
