1. 88th Annual Old Fort Days Rodeo
From May 31-June 5, this event will be in full swing from Kay Rodgers Park. It starts with the Rodeo Parade at 10 AM on Memorial Day and continues with the Muttin' Bustin' Qualifying Event at 4:30 PM. Cowboys from all over the world will be competing for one of the largest prize purses in Arkansas. Events include Saddle Bronc Riding, Bull Riding, Bareback Riding, Calf Roping, Barrel Racing, Team Roping, Steer Wrestling, and Breakaway Roping (new this year)! Click here for the full schedule.
2. Soar Dance Academy Annual Showcase
Come check out these local athletes from 7-9:30 PM on Friday, June 4, as they display their bravery, talent, and artistry at The Bakery District in the first of a planned annual showcase. Your young dancers-in-training will be enthralled! Ticketing information is available at this link.
3. Teen Night at Parrot Island Waterpark
After the year our high school students have had (year-and-a-half, really), they deserve the chance to close down the park on Friday, June 4. Doors will be open from 7:30-10 PM. Secure your tickets at this link.
4. Cirque Italia Water Circus
Cirque Italia's Water Circus is coming to Central Mall this Thursday, June 3, at 7:30 PM with repeat showings Saturday and Sunday (June 5 and 6, respectively) starting at 1:30 PM. For a full rundown of what to expect, head over to KUAF for the official release.
5. Fort Smith Farmer's Market On Garrison
Every Tuesday and Saturday through June! (Every Saturday otherwise.) Lots of vendors selling everything from food and desserts to jewelry and other crafts. Be there at 2nd and Garrison starting at 7 AM. Vendors leave at noon.
