1. Catfishing Series Begins

Want to teach your kids to reel in catfish by the barrels? Come to the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission's River Valley Nature Center starting June 18 at 6 PM to learn everything you need to know! Lasts from June 18-26. Click here for more information!

2. Chuck E. Cheese and Peter Rabbit 2

The good folks at Rye Hill Baptist are hosting a fun day for the kiddos that will include movie, play, and pizza all for the low cost of $10 per child. If you've ever been to a movie or Chuck E. Cheese, you know what a deal that is! Contact Missy or the Church Office for more details!

3. True Grit 5K

The annual True Grit 5K Run/Walk Event starts Friday, June 18, at 8 AM. This is a good way to introduce your kids to the concept of competitive running in a no-judgment, no-pressure way. Runners and Walkers will start from 7313 Terry St. inside of the Chaffee Crossing district. Water stations will be a mile apart to help battle the heat! Click here for more information.

4. Community School of the Arts Summer Programs

On Monday, June 14, the Community School of the Arts begins its Broadway Intensive Summer Camp that shepherds students, grades 3-6 and 7-12, through separate programs resulting in a musical showcase at the end of the week (June 18 at 6 PM). If this catches you off-guard, no worries! CSA has other ways to get your arts-loving kiddos involved, as well as private lessons in a number of artistic endeavors. 5. 2021 Law Enforcement Torch Run For Special Olympics

It's been a couple of years since our area Law Enforcement Officers have gotten to run as one with last year's event being virtual. This year, they are back and carrying the Flame of Hope alongside Special Olympics Athletes in what is a truly inspiring cause. Be watching for your fellow public servants this Tuesday morning and cheer them on! The run will start at 7:30 AM from the Walmart Supercenter on Zero Street.
