Every Sunday, Macaroni Kid Fort Smith shares five things to do with your kids in Fort Smith, Arkansas, over the coming week.

1. Summer Dreams Coloring Contest

Pawfficer Fuzz of the Fort Smith Police Department is hosting a coloring contest in conjunction with Fort Smith Public Schools. He wants to see how many talented kiddos (and adults) we have in town. He will be giving away prizes and VIP Meet and Greets for all the 1st Place Winners in each category. Coloring sheets can be picked up at all the Summer Meal locations or at the Fort Smith Police Department.  

2. Parrot Island Fourth of July Week

Teen Night is Friday, July 2, starting at noon and going through 10 PM. Fourth of July Frenzy is on Saturday, July 3, from noon to 7 PM. All season pass holders can bring friends for free! Ticketing information and more on these events are available at this link

3. Mayor's Fourth of July Celebration! 

It's back in full force after a year of COVID. Come to 121 Riverfront Drive on Sunday, July 4, starting at 5 PM. Good times with family, friends, and pets! It's the largest show in the River Valley Region, and we can't wait to make the most of it. For more information, check out the link here

4. ArtiZEN Market

Starting Saturday, July 3, at 9 AM-7 PM and going through Sunday, July 4, at 11 AM-4 PM, the ArtiZEN Market presented by the Chrysalis of Fort Smith Wellness and Spa is a chance to see and purchase hand-crafted items from area vendors, sing karaoke, and partake of other on-site entertainment from the location at 8501 US-271. 5. Alma Aquatic Park Fourth of July Weekend

Keep the kids stocked in water park fun by bouncing back-and-forth between Parrot Island Waterpark and the Alma Aquatic Park this weekend. Our neighbors in Airedale Country are open Saturday, July 3, from 11 AM-6:30 PM; Sunday, July 4, from 12 PM-5:30 PM; and Monday, July 5, from 12-9 PM. Follow the Facebook page for more details!
