1. Movies in the Park Presents Trolls World Tour

Blanket, check. Snacks, check. Kiddos, check. It's time for the second edition of the City of Fort Smith Parks and Recreation Department's Movies in the Park. This week, enjoy a free showing of Trolls World Tour at Creekmore Park, Friday, July 16, starting at 12 PM! Follow this link for more information. 

2. Community School of the Arts Presents Intro to Suzuki Strings

Join instructor Wendy Dane at CSA for this high-quality weeklong session. There will be two classes. One for children in the group age 4 to Second Grade and another for Grades 3-6. There is a cost associated with each class. You can learn more about it and register here

3. Chaffee Crossing Farmers & Artisans Market

The July Farmers & Artisans Market will be in full swing, this time with a special Fruit Pie Baking Contest! There will also be a Classic Car Show in addition to the normal list of fantastic vendors. Come join the fun at 7313 Terry Street, 8 AM-1 PM. Read more about it here

4. Fort Smith Farmer's Market on Second and Garrison

Can't get over to the east side of town for the Chaffee Crossing event? No problem! You can always check out the twice-weekly Fort Smith Farmer's Market featuring dozens of vendors, delicious food, unique crafts, and fun. Hours are 7 AM-Noon, Tuesdays and Saturdays. 5. Parrot Island Waterpark Presents First Responders Day

This will be all-day celebration to recognize and honor our community’s first responders. All First Responders will enjoy free admission and receive a complimentary concessions voucher along with 50% off for their immediate family members and a 25% discount on concessions and retail throughout the day. Teams of First Responders and their families can compete for the Champions Parrot Cup and win exciting prizes. This event is open to the public. Regular Admission Fees apply. Read more at this link.
