1. Peacemaker Festival
Come to Riverfront Amphitheater, 121 Riverfront Drive, to get in on the live music and fun! It all starts Friday, July 30, at 3 PM, and it goes until midnight on Saturday, July 31. This year's featured musical guests include Muscadine Bloodline, Paul Cauthen, Lucero, Giovanni & The Hired Guns, Tanner Usrey, Cody Johnson, Kolby Kooper, The Band of Heathens, Kylie Frey, and Cody Hibbard. 2. Cherokee Bill: Black Cowboy-Indian Outlaw Book Signing
Join author Art Burton for a book signing at the Fort Smith Museum of History on Monday, July 26, at 5:30 PM to learn about this contemporary of Billy the Kid. Click here for ticketing information!
3. The Traveling Comic Book Store
Ardmore, Oklahoma's on-the-go Traveling Comic Book Store will hit Van Buren at 9 AM on Saturday, July 31, and stick around until 3 PM. It all goes down at the Hampton Inn. Kids 12 and under get in for free while adults only have to pay $1. ENORMOUS selection with plenty of DC, Marvel, Pokemon, and Manga, as well as sports cards. Learn more here.
4. Wild Things Day Camp
Be at The Bakery District on Wednesday, July 28, with your 5-12-year-olds. (Younger or older siblings are also welcome!) Miss Shannon from Community School of the Arts will be helping little readers, music makers, and dreamers bring this beloved children's book to life. Attendees should plan to attend every day (Wednesday - Friday, July 30), and they will showcase their production at the storytime event on Saturday, July 31! 5. Drive-In Back-to-School Supplies Giveaway
