1. Sebastian County Fair

Greenwood, Arkansas, will host the Sebastian County Fair on Saturday, Aug. 21, from 530 E Knoxville St. The event starts at 2 PM. There will be a pageant, livestock show, and tour of the different exhibits. Johnson Brothers Carnival will provide fun rides and games for all ages. Adults are $5, children $3. 2. Pokemon TCG - Free Play

Sharp Gaming will be hosting a free-play event for all ages, starting at 6 PM on Wednesday, Aug. 18, from the Sharp Gaming site at 923 Louisville Street. The event is expected to go on until 9 PM, and you can learn more about it here.

3. Southside and Northside Volleyball Benefit Match

Both Southside and Northside High School volleyball teams will be in action on Thursday, Aug. 19,  at 6 PM as part of the varsity benefit matchup from NHS. If you have any players participating, you already know. If you don't, this will be a great chance to come out and see what our athletes are all about and bring your little ones along! Let's show these teams our support!

4. Ultimate Fair at Central Mall

If you've missed the first few days of the Ultimate Fair at Central Mall, don't despair! It will continue to be in town from Monday, Aug. 16, through Sunday, Aug. 22. Children are $5. Armbands are $25. Little ones (42 inches and under) are free! All kinds of fun food and games to choose from. Click here for more details!

5. Date Night Idea: Salsa Dancing Lessons!

It's Thursday, Aug. 19. The first week of Back to School is almost done. You need a break, Mom and Dad. And Rolando's is here to help. For just $20 per person, you can learn Salsa from Aura of El Salvador, who comes to us from Rogers, Arkansas where she owns the Dance With Me Studio by Aura focusing on Latin dance.
