Every Sunday, Macaroni Kid Fort Smith shares five things to do with your kids in Fort Smith, Arkansas, over the coming week.
Here are Macaroni Kid Fort Smith's picks for the five things to do in the River Valley with kids for the week ending Sept. 12, 2021. Click on the links for all the details!
1. 3D Archery Presented By AGFC
Come out to the Arkansas Game and Fish Nature Center to shoot at outside 3D targets on Friday, Sept. 10, at 6 PM. Safety and shooting techniques will be covered, plus you can get Archery Patches for the Outdoor Skills Patch program! Click here for more information!
2. Spirit Halloween Opens!
Spirit Halloween is back with the grand opening on Sunday, Sept. 5. But you can drop by any time between now and Halloween (or afterward if you want to get in on any post-holiday sales). Make sure your little ones have their costume needs covered! It is at Fort Smith Pavilion over on the Dick's Sporting Goods side.
3. Bird Bungalow Kit
Lowe's Home Improvement will be offering these kits up on a reserve basis to any of you who have kiddos that love crafts and birds. A great no-screen-time filler for those days when it's too hot to go outside or too rainy. Inquire at the 8001 Rogers Avenue location to learn more, or click here for more information!
4. Remembering 9/11
It changed the world forever. On Saturday, Sept. 11, drop by the US Marshals Museum from 7:30 AM to 5 PM and bring the kids for an educational and informative remembrance of what this day meant at the time and how it continues to reverberate throughout our lives. The “Remembering 9/11” will be on display with guided tours, special activities, and story times for kids. Click here for more information!
5. Growing Kids Sale
Kay Rodgers Park will host this huge event that wouldn't be possible if not for the 2,000 MOMS who will be on-hand selling their gently used children's items, including clothes, shoes, toys, and more! Come join the fun starting on Thursday, Sept. 9, and make return-trips any time between then and Saturday, Sept. 11. Click here for more info.
