1. Spiro Mounds Autumnal Equinox Walks
Each of the special guided tours at the Spiro Mounds Archaeological Center on Wednesday, Sept. 15, will last two hours and be one mile of easy walking. Archaeologist Dennis Peterson will tell the history of this prehistoric and Native American mound center, of the excavations, and why some of the mounds line up for the solstice and equinox sunsets. 2. Monster Truck Insanity Hits Van Buren
The Crawford County Speedway in Van Buren will welcome monster trucks Devastator, Bad Decision, Barbarian, Kamikaze, and Rockwell Red for the Monster Truck Insanity Tour on Saturday, Sept. 18. 5. CSA Auditions: 101 Dalmatians KIDS!
The Community School of the Arts is opening up another auditions call on Wednesday, Sept. 15, from 4-6 PM, this time for the stage production of 101 Dalmatians KIDS to be held on Dec. 18, 2021, at the St. Boniface Auditorium.
