Every Sunday, Macaroni Kid Fort Smith shares five things to do with your kids in Fort Smith, Arkansas, over the coming week.

Here are Macaroni Kid Fort Smith's picks for the five things to do in the River Valley area with kids for the week ending Oct. 31, 2021. Click on the links for all the details!

1. Trunk Or Treat at GreenPointe

From 4-6 PM on Saturday, Oct. 30, bring the kids to 4300 Rogers Avenue for this great event. It will feature candy o'plenty and lots of fun. Plus, you don't have to be out all night, or you'll have plenty of time to get to those late-night shindigs without missing out on the chocolate. Read more at this link

2. Trick Or Treat Down the Avenue

Starting Saturday, Oct. 30, at 5 PM, you can stroll Garrison Avenue and take advantage of mostly treats (and few tricks) courtesy our friends at 64.6 Downtown. Lots of businesses will be participating. See the full list here, and come prepared to fill up your candy bags. Families welcomed!

3. Believe In Fort Smith's 3rd Annual Trunk Or Treat

Believe In Fort Smith returns to the US Marshals Museum for its third annual Trunk or Treat event. If you're already on Garrison for the Believe Trick or Treat event on Saturday, Oct. 30, why not take a few more minutes to hang out with Marcus and the Crew? The event will run from 6-9 PM. More details are available here.

4. BrickCity's Second Annual BOOTique Crawl

From 1-4 PM on Saturday, Oct. 30, check out BrickCity's second annual BOOTique Crawl, which will feature gourmet sampling, discounts, and a chance to win a "gift casket" from many of the 160 independent boutiques represented. Located at 8375 Rogers Ave. just off 74th St. Click here for more of the details.

5. Halloween On Main Street

Our neighbors over the bridge have what is sure to be a fun family-friendly shindig as well on Oct. 30, so long as you don't mind the kids staying up a little past their bedtimes. The Old Town Merchants Association welcomes anyone and everyone to Historic Downtown Van Buren for a ton o'fun. Zombie Crawl starts at 6 PM (near Blanche Moore Park/8th & Main intersection). There will be a Time Warp Dance, Shake Your Bacon Witch's Dance, and costume contest in the 400 Block, followed by trick or treating and a showing of Hocus Pocus in Blanche Moore Park. Free admission and candy. Funnel cakes and fair food will be available for purchase. More details at this link
