1. Christmas Honors
Christmas Honors is one of the Fort's proudest traditions, and it's coming back for another year. This unforgettable experience honors each of the servicemen and women who are resting at the National Cemetery by laying a wreath at every stone. Get involved starting on Dec. 1 with the annual workshop. The actual laying of the wreaths is on Dec. 4. Click here for more details!
2. Little Lions at the North Pole
Come to the Smith-Pendergraft Center at 10 AM on Saturday, Dec. 4, for another year of Little Lions at the North Pole. There will be hot chocolate, fun arts and crafts activities, and ornament decorating! Wrap it all up with a commemorative photo in the mini winter wonderland. More event info is available here.
3. Fort Smith Symphony Christmas Concert
The Fort Smith Symphony will be doing its part to get you in the holiday spirit with the IT'S CHRISTMASTIME Concert on Saturday, Dec. 4, at 7 PM. After spending a day with UAFS and Christmas Honors, hearing these Christmas classics in person from our talented Symphony Orchestra will be just the thing to unwind. Ticketing information can be found at this link.
4. Sunday MakeBreak at Michael's
Michael's at the Fort Smith Pavilion welcomes you and your little ones for another MakeBreak on Sunday, Dec. 5. The theme this time around will be watercolor holiday cards, so come drop by and do the holidays right, your way, alongside other kiddos and parents. Check ahead to make sure times are good. We show 2-4 PM, but if it's anything like past Michael's events, you can come at any point in that window, and take however long or little of time you need.
5. 2021 Creekmore Holiday Express Launch Party
Don't forget about the 2021 Creekmore Holiday Express! The train will run all through the holidays, but a special launch party will be held on Monday evening, Nov. 29. City Board members and the Mayor will be in attendance to hand out the free hot cocoa. The launch event will start at 5:30 PM and run for about three hours. Click here for more details.
