1. DIY Herb Garden

The Miller Branch Public Library will have everything that you need to get started with a DIY herb garden starting on Friday, April 22. Stop by and see Mrs. Tiffany or one of her friendly staff to get your packet, which includes seeds. Click the link above to check the library's hours of availability.

2. Who's Line Improv for Young Actors

Got an aspiring actor in the grades 7-12 range? This workshop will give them everything they need to get started with the fine and often funny art of improvisation. See the Community School of the Arts for more information or click above. It will be held at St. Boniface, 201 N 19th Street and start Wednesday, April 20, from 6-7 PM.

3. Earth Day Celebration

Come to Creekmore Park and bring your kiddos. This is a chance to celebrate all of what Mother Nature has to offer on the day made especially for her. It's free, starts at Noon, and is a good way to teach your children about the active role they can play in saving our planet. Click the link above for more details.

4. United Way's Day of Caring 2022

Each year, the United Way of Fort Smith rallies folks together to see how they can help one another. Of particular focus are the wonderful nonprofit organizations around our city that are often strapped for cash and other resources. That's where the United Way and all our area businesses and individuals step in and step up. If you want to raise a service-minded youngster, then get involved, starting with breakfast at 8 AM on April 21 from 121 Riverfront Drive in Downtown Fort Smith. Click the above link for more information.

5. Kids Can Cook Baking Class

Alma's popular Kids Can Cook Series returns on April 23 with the Baking Class from Haven's Place, 824 North Highway 71 in Airedale Country. The program is designed for 4-11-year-olds. They will be baking two different desserts sure to make your mouth water. Each child will get to taste them and take home the leftovers. Click above for more deets.
