1. 4F Skate Night
Faith, Friends, Family & Fun (4F) invites you to check out their monthly Skate Night at Skate-Reation, 201 Hughes Drive in Poteau on Monday, April 25, from 6-8 PM. Reasonable admission price, free food, a guaranteed good time for the kiddos. Come hang out. Click the link above for more details.
2. Independent Bookstore Day at The Bakery District
This year, Bookish will be hosting regional author Beth Brown for storytime, giveaways will feature art prints by local artists, and there will be new Bookish merch. Statehouse Electric will wrap up the afternoon with music on the patio. It all goes down on April 30 at The Bakery District from 10 AM. Click on the link above for more information.
3. Judge Isaac C. Parker Memorial Chili Cookoff
Saturday, noon, at Fort Smith Harley-Davidson, come celebrate a worthy cause and have some delicious chili in the process. The proceeds from this event will benefit the Children's Service League. You can follow the link in the heading for more information.
4. Lao New Year Festival 2022
Join the Lao Buddhist Association Center for the Lao New Year Festival all weekend long from Friday, April 29, through Sunday, May 1. Sunday will be entirely free admission. Friday and Saturday are $10 for adult and free admission for children under 12. There will be street food, water activities, live music, and more fun than you can imagine as you help our fellow Lao population celebrate the New Year. 5. Peter Pan
Western Arkansas Ballet, invites you to join Peter, Wendy, John, and Michael as they embark on a magical adventure to Neverland, a wondrous world where people fly, fairies are real, crocodiles tick like clocks, and boys never grow up! With swashbuckling swordfights, enchanting mermaids, and spectacularly colorful sets, Peter Pan is a timeless adventure from beginning to end.
The cast of over 60 area dancers ages 8-adult will feature members of WAB’s pre-professional company. Peter Pan will be performed at the Arkansas Best Corporation Performing Arts Center at the Arcbest Corporation Performing Arts Center Friday, April 29, at 7 PM and Saturday, April 30, at 2 PM.
