1. Rock Painting Craft Presented By Fort Smith Public Library - Dallas

The Dallas Branch of the FSPL invites rock-painting aficionados of all ages to check out their free kits on Friday, July 22, from 2-3 PM. All materials will be provided. Click here for more information. 

2. The Black Out Presented By BOST

Really cool partnership between the folks at BOST and the Arkansas Colleges of Health Education (ACHE). Come check out the BOST acting corps as they present this original play from 1000 Fianna Way on Tuesday, July 19. The fun starts at 6 PM. Click here for more information.  

3. Library Lab Presented By FSPL - Windsor 

Will a blue whale fit inside the library? Come find out! This STEAM Program combines the fun of science, art, and books into one glorious hour from the Windsor Branch. The fun starts at 2 PM on Thursday, July 21. Click here to learn more! 

4. Free Movies in the Park Presented By The City of Fort Smith

Bring your favorite lawn chair and get ready for some speedy, family-friendly action! The City of Fort Smith Parks Department will be hosting its last Free Movies in the Park for July with Sonic the Hedgehog. Showtime is at dusk on Friday, July 22. Click here for more details.

5. Military Appreciation Day Presented By Parrot Island Waterpark

Active duty military and veterans will enjoy free admission and receive a complimentary concessions voucher along with 50 percent off for their immediate family members and a 25 percent discount on concessions and retail throughout the day, which will open with an honors ceremony followed by the Parrot Games. During the Games, teams and their families can compete for exciting prizes, before wrapping up with an awards ceremony. The park will open at 10 AM and go until 7 PM on Saturday, July 23, for this spectacular event. Click here for more information.
