1. Seussical Kids Theatre Company
The Seussical Kids Theatre Company is another great program from the Community School of the Arts that is designed to get your K-Grade 2-year-old to explore movement through music and dance. Your child will work on developing physical skills, channeling energy, and stimulating imagination, in a structured environment. 2. STEAM Team
STEAM Team is a program for children ages 8-12 who have an interest in science, technology, engineering, art, and math. The STEAM Team will have a chance to build fun stuff, be active, make art, and even make a mess! This month, STEAMers will learn about constellations and make their very own constellation viewer. 3. Wild Edibles
Find food in the forest! Join the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission River Valley Nature Center to learn about which plants are edible and where to find them in Arkansas. Charles Griffith has been teaching about wild edibles since the early 1980s, including plant-walks at Yellowstone National Park. Registration is not required for the event, which takes place on Saturday, Sept. 17, at 1 PM. Click here for details.
4. Monster Truck Insanity
The Monster Truck Insanity Tour comes back to our area via the Crawford County Speedway in Van Buren this Saturday, Sept. 17, from 7-9:30 PM. Tickets will go quickly to this one-night-only event, so make sure that you get yours quickly. Click here for more details!
5. Fort Smith Colorful Run 5K
